Al- Wafic (NGO) groups private sector stakeholders who are trying to harmonize SME initiatives that can address global reforms while addressing Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in business investment and related development issues
With a focus on the Bio- Economies of the Middle East North Africa Region (MENA), Al- Wafic tries to address Macro & Micro issues that can help SMEs cope with Lebanese bilateral agreements(Egyptian ,UAE, Syrian ,etc..) and multilateral (GAFTA,EUMA,EFTA,TIFA..) and other agreements under negotiation (WTO,MFTA,) initiatives. Gender issues are issues of primary concern; and related platforms are focused on.
Al- Wafic works to strengthening and supporting small and medium enterprises and in helping them face globalization and understanding international standards and norms. Accordingly the association implement several objectives , strategies ,and actions for reaching its aim.
